What you have to do is down a bottle of vodka, grab the saw and start cutting. no need to tape off the lines, you will be fine. but if do need help. i'll walk across the street and help ya buddy.

I used a utility knife with tape for my guide lines. make a few passes with the knife then just pull the blade through, cuts like butter! take your time and wear some welding gloves! after removing the ears, heat up a puddy knife and melt the edges for a smoother look. :cool:

you said it!! thats the only way to cut

1. the best way that i wave found is to use a jig saw and go slow.

2. Then take a high grit sand paper and smooth it down at the edges.

3.you can make a tool that can form the edges perfictly buy cutting a C in a putty knife and either heat the tool or use a heat gun with it and slide over the egdes

4. just dont press hard.

We either use a jig saw with a metal blade ( finer cuts but go slow to keep from clogging the teeth )or an air cut off tool and then used a 1/4 sheet flat sander to smooth the edges. 400 grit works nice for this.
