I have one question i want my banshee to have some low end power what else can i do besides the 12t sprocket. What kind of pipe/silencer should i get? also what tires are the best for hooking up? any other suggestions on mods? i ride trails mostly open, some curvy, sand, gravel, hardpack etc. thanks Quote

If you're looking for even more bottom end there are 2 ino 1 pipes and carbs on the market as well. Quote
jmd0346 Posted March 9, 2008 Report Posted March 9, 2008 Dont buy a Shee wanting bottom end power. Buy it because you like high winding serious power that comes on hard. I hate to see someone try and change what the bike was designed to do. I suggest Maxxis razors for tires. I also suggest leaving your gearing stock. Quote

I heard that the cool heads weren't a very good idea heard of them cracking and causeing problems but idk for sure. I would like to do a single carb set up. are those 2 to 1 pipes any good? i kinda like the look of dual? oh im at about 1,000 feet above sea level in minnesota Edited March 9, 2008 by Tapper1823 Quote

More banshees out there running the cool than running the stock one probably. I'd go with the NOSS piece. Little better design than the pro design cool head. Less O-rings, one piece design and uses stock studs. 2 into 1 pipes are more for mxer's who want ton of mid range but really choke you down on the top. If you plan on porting your bike I'd go with a set of T5's, if not a set of FMF fatties or T6's would work good for you. Quote

If any of them would crack it would be the stock head long before the billet head. Ive never heard of either head cracking. Quote

I would recomend 21cc domes for your elevation if you want to run pump gas. Quote
