inthemail Posted March 8, 2008 Report Posted March 8, 2008 ok i bought er unpacked er and got everything started up, i set up my gamer profile and machine blah blah blah. shit deal here is i cant get an ip and get my 360 online. do you have to sign up for live for this? i have the membership but i figured a device like that just connects like a normal computer. Snopczynski Posted March 8, 2008 Report Posted March 8, 2008 your ip and all those settings need to be set to auto if you have a standard internet service provider. You also have to have a router thats compatible with xbox live. All this stuff is talked about on www.xbox.com Quote

My Wii does, just had to connect it wirelessly and put the WEP Key in. Of course it can be used for online play, etc....but was just wondering if that was a feature as well. Quote
