jetting for the dunes

hey guys i need some help jetting my bike.i am around nashville,tn elevation is 500 or so ft.i am leaving out to go to little sahara dunes for a couple of days of fun and the elevation there is 1,493 ft.can someone tell me if i'm going to have to rejet my bike for the trip and if so about how much jetting?thanks guy any help would be great

less than a 1000 ft diff you are not going to tell a diff no need to rejet. You will run a tad bit richer bring a couple extra plugs just in case you foul out but I doubt you will unless you are running at the extreme rich jetting at 500 ft. Have a fun trip

I agree take a few extra plugs and you might try raising a clip or 2 if it runs too bad.... :beer:

If you're running on the rich side at 55' you may want to drop one main jet size for 1400'. I would take some smaller mains along, leave the carbs alone for now and rejet if it's needed when you get there.
