Well after a year of total bullshit with the rebuild i finally got the thing back together and took it out for pres weekend. The VERY first ride on it I started having issues with what sounded like the clutch or lockup. So i loaded it up into the truck and hauled it back to camp. The rest of the trip i rode my wife bike. Got home and started opening it up. took the whole clutch apart not a single thing wrong. so i put it back together and realize i forgot a washer that goes behind the innre clutch hub. so i once again drain the oil and start pulling it apart. get everything back on and pour the oil back in and hey what do you kno a nice large hunk of metal. What appears to be either the end of a gear or possibly the dogs of one. i wont find out until i finsh removeing the motor later this week and split the cases.

Just as i thought all my shity luck had finally ran out now i have a 400 dollar brand new Duneable override get wasted on the first trip. Hopefully it has some type of warranty being it is BRAND new!!!

That really sucks!! Just curious, but did you install the 3 springs on the shift shaft? I'm not trying to insult your intelligence or anything, just seeing if we can figure out what might have gone wrong, this is terrible news, I know you worked real hard on your bike
