i took a motor i had apart to use the cases.... it seems on of the rod bearings on the crank went bad an gulled up the bottom case alittle. if i clean up to marks it made will it be ok to use? the marks are not deep or anything i think maybe smoothing with die grinder will be ok..... any one ever done this before?

im no pro but im sure its no big deal. as long as its not all the way though amd like you said not very bad. i would probably clean them up alittle and go for it. dont take my word for it though lol

these marks are not very deep at all, more like "gulling" from where the rod rubed from bearing slop....
