Electrical problems can favor one cylinder over the other reguadless of swaping the plug wires.. I had a similar problem awhile back.. bike would run good at idle and 1/4 throttle but just before it came onto the pipe it would sputter and lag and backfire through the left cylinder.. Turns out it was the coil gap.

Just to throw another Idea out there. Are you sure somehow the slides didn't get mixed up and ended up in the wrong carbs?

i dont thinks electrical again because i switched the plug wires and it does the same thing!! as far as the reeds they look good to me no cracks or breaks... i'm starting to lean towards the carbs.. although there is a chance that there is low compression on the left side, i trust the guy i bought it off (he's a buddy). Any way the i was checking the manual and got into syncing the carbs. I checked the sight glass to line up the mark on the slide and they are way off!! so i started adjusting but i had problems because the glass on the left carb is scratched up. the right carb the mark barely lift into sight. help i'm in distress
if you have a buddy that has a banshee, ask if you can try his carbs to eliminate whether your left

carb is good or not.if it does the same thing you know it's not your carbs, check your timing or the electronics that screw on to the top of the carbs make sure that current is working and you dont have a short their, and go through your entire harness to see if anything was spliced and came apart and last thing get a compression check a.s.a.p could be you need pistons.

my banshee is killing the left cylinder after about 1/8 throttle. it will idle fine but pretty much anything more than that it starts back firing out of the exhaust on the left cylinder. Any idieas or common problems???

Make sure your fuel line is not kinked at all, I know this from recent experience from mine doing the same thing.
