I have a 01 banshee and I have bought A new stator for it. but the wires don't match is this normal and if so what wires go where or did I get the wrong part? it's a rick's motor sport stator. Any help would be great.

Yep, there are two different connectors for the banshee. 87-94 and 95 and up.

should be able to remove the connector off the stock stator and use that with the new stator wiring. I can tell you what color RickyStator wires hook up to the banshee wires.

I'm sure ricks motor sport stator has different wires but if its not a problem I would take you'r info on the ricky stator an compare It to what I got. thanks

out of the stator is Red, Green, White/green, and White/Red. They correspond with the same color wires on the wiring harness. And a Yellow and Black, for lighting.

thanks for the help! unfortantly my new stator wires are red -white plastic covered -white cloth-red cloth-blk-and 2 yellow probably just the wrong one all together

If the brand you have is Electrix then there may be 2 yellow output wires. Thats the way my old electrix stator was.
