mr baja Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 I have a 01 banshee and I have bought A new stator for it. but the wires don't match is this normal and if so what wires go where or did I get the wrong part? it's a rick's motor sport stator. Any help would be great. Quote

Any help would be great. Yep, there are two different connectors for the banshee. 87-94 and 95 and up. Quote

CombatTalon2 Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 (edited) should be able to remove the connector off the stock stator and use that with the new stator wiring. I'm sure ricks motor sport stator has different wires but if its not a problem I would take you'r info on the ricky stator an compare It to what I got. thanks Quote

They correspond with the same color wires on the wiring harness. And a Yellow and Black, for lighting. Quote

And a Yellow and Black, for lighting. thanks for the help! unfortantly my new stator wires are red -white plastic covered -white cloth-red cloth-blk-and 2 yellow probably just the wrong one all together Quote

Thats the way my old electrix stator was. Quote
