siksykorx7 Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 i have an 06 banshee that is currently getting a play dune port by fast with case porting also,i also have v force 3 reeds, cool head with 19cc domes but prolly gonna drop to 17s to run vp,a adjustable timing plate which i plan on running at +4, i also have a boost bottle which ive heard mixed reviews on and a k&n powerlid,i was wondering if someone has or had a similar setup and what size carb seems to work best? any help is appreciated Quote
sheerider1026 Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 what do you plan on doing with the bike?? i would maybe get some 33mm pwks?? they may be a bit big, but my play/trail bike has a trinity 2 into 1 35pwk and i absolutely love it. it does not suffer on top end like a lot of people say, i was hesitant to try it since i thought th same thing, but after i got it on and jetted right, i think it adds power everywhere, it may have different hp numbers on a dyno(i think snops did a dyno comparison) but the seat of the pants and the ride are well worth it.. just my 2 lincolns. siksykorx7 Posted February 10, 2008 Author Report Posted February 10, 2008 i do a little bit of everything from tight trail,to hill climbs , to dragracing ive contemplated getting a 2 into one setup because ive heard they give some wicked throttle response and bottom end but at the same time i dont want to run an exposed pod filter because i do alot of trail and crick crossing, i guess ya cant have the best of all worlds Quote
sheerider1026 Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 yes u can have the best of both, the trinity setup comes with an adapter plate to use the stock airbox, thats what i have, i ride trails, woods, creeks, .. the throttle response and low/mid power is definately noticeable. Quote
yamaha04 Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 get a set of 28mmpwk's good all around carb good for the kinda riding your going to be doing and you can still use your air box. also a see a couple builders like passion and jeff selling these adapter precise of rubber that you get so you can still run your air box with a bigger carb. you could probably get some of these from any hardware store. they look very simple Quote
