I didnt head out until the evening so most of it melted that the road was reopened by the time we went through. Did you camp at gecko? I'm assuming thats the big ditch that you drive over just before gecko coming to the dunes? Quote
mgrey Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 i never hit reserve and we rode from wash 4 straight there raced up about 4 or 5 times and then rode back through the dunes to olds than back to 4 .i'm even ported running 35's w/ stock tank .i'd say i was pretty close to hitting reserve when i got back ,probably real close . ya i went out thurs at 130 and it was snowing right past alpine and then got bad right at boulevard .camped at wash 4 and took a trip to coachella canal...the cement one over by gecko...the water was freezing balls literally frozen balls Quote

I will get that posted here soon. I know your brother is dying to see it. Your bike is built to be faster than your brothers. I know I built both of them. Its all in the tuning. The carbs are set up wrong and that 120 PSI you have sucks. Get rid of that head and get into a NOSS unit and tighten up the cc volume, jet those carbs right. Then race him again. I couldn't ride anymore so I was back at camp & got the call, picked him up from the Osborne Overlook. Blew the head gasked, couldn't get it to seal. Hell we were only a few washes over from you Greg. Took a ride over there reving the shit out the banshee hoping you guys would recognize it. Wash 14 sure hated me. It was so crowded and couln't find you guys. Later on while attending my wounds I saw Caspers shee pass by on the back of his truck. I drove to Gecko on Sunday saw a shitload of Banshee's & the Semi's, had to be the East Coast guys!! Kevs, that Blaster sounds sick! Is it still air cooled at 265cc's? is that the blaster that rode right infront of us at wash 10? Quote

A bunch of Banshee guys over on E2S are planning a Spring Break Pismo run, I really wanna get in on that one. Bansheeman, I wasn't at the hill when you guys were there..
