shanYE west Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 Bought my hoses from RMATV for 89.00 Fit was perfect!! Quote
Bansh-eman Posted February 5, 2008 Author Report Posted February 5, 2008 Greg...not sure if this is any cheaper, but way cool.... http://www.coolflex.com/cfm/store.cfm?main...&mode=parts that stuff u posted was 52 bucks for 44 inches of it. not a bad price. but i dont think you can order it by the foot so that would make it just as much as the cascade stuff (which is actualy made by pwr) Quote
FireHead Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 i refuse to buy anything from albas, ill spend more money and get hoses from cascade before ill buy anything from alba again I will actively dissuade anyone from buying anything from Alba. They are terrible! ...........and my clear Home Depot Hose workd great! Are you sure your hose clamp was ok? Remember, righty tighty, lefty lossey. Quote
inthemail Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 (edited) Damn, hope you are OK!! jayzx that is one nice shee..... the cascade ones are PMR or PWR or something like that arent they? i think they only come in red or blue. i like the braided stainless look but you have to keep the wd40 soaked to them or dirt will bake on em and tere IMPOSSIBBLE to clean up after that. (good tip fo general grease and grime fighting right there, soak everything in WD. when it gets dirty and gross looking (which it will because it leaves everything coated with a light oily coating) soak in degreaser, pressure wash and reapply WD immediatley to dispel the water, let it sit and ragshine the bitch! NitroTate Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 Greg...not sure if this is any cheaper, but way cool.... http://www.coolflex.com/cfm/store.cfm?main...&mode=parts Yeah I found some of this Cool flex at the auto parts store for like $30. and it was enough to do 2 banshees. I have had it on for 3 years now and works perfect. It probably helps with cooling a bit too. I'm not sure if its "Cool Flex" brand but it is flexible metal and looks exactly the same. Quote
