Your crank case prob slowly leaked in some oil slowing your crank and slowly spun out, but vacuum and leaking will still pull it in and out your exaust causing the extra oil being burned (extra white smoke) if its your clutch side (rear brake lever side)exaust, thats most likely it. Its really ez to split a banshee case tho. Chevshee Quote

Which side is heavily smoking? What does the smoke smell like? Does it smell like heavy premix (gas/premix oil)? Does it smell like oil burning, like a car burning a lot of oil? Or does it smell sweet, like antifreeze. Check the level of oil in your tranny, and check the level of coolant in the radiator. Quote
Mark D Posted February 7, 2008 Author Report Posted February 7, 2008 it had been runnin on 1 cylinder for a few days. whats the chance that alot of petrol lay in that piston and its spitting out gas.. could the smoke be the gas being burnt from the piston.. it smell like gas tho.. Quote

If it smells like heavy gas and premix, you need to check the syncronzation on your carbs and check the reeds and make sure you are getting ignition on that cylinder before you go off tring to replace a crank seal. But first, check bewteen the carbs and see if the choke crossover tube is in place between them. Quote
