runger Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 I have a 4mm stroker 5mm long rod and i bought adjustable timing plate and i want to know if anything changes the marks on the plate or can i set it to the plate marks to set the timing right Quote
Hilarious Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 Didnt you say you had 180psi compression on a dune port, in another thread? As far as I know, the length of stroke has no bearing on timing. Assuming that you are running race gas, set it at +5. Edit: you will be moving your stator from your stocker over to the new unit. Dont forget to set the pickup gap to .020. I believe thats it. Quote
Screaming Yellow Zonker Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 the only way it would change is if the key way was machined in the wrong spot. Other than that when it says 5* it is 5*. Quote
