Fireroad Express Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 pro-design if you want good quality and fit. ricky stator if you want a cheaper alternative. i had to do a bit of light grinding to get my RS plate to fit but it works good. quality suffers a bit on the RS timing plates. pro design is more expensive. Quote
quick_00 Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 (edited) or you could just modify your own! I did it, it was simple. I used a 3 inch cutting wheel to take out the raised metal to the left of the mounting holes. Then I took a roto zip and grinded the mounting holes to counter clockwise 4mm's for 4 degrees advanced. Worked great only took an hour for the whole thing! just my 2 cents  also heres a link to the tech doc, it help me out http://www.bansheehq.com/index.php?option=...2&Itemid=28 scroll down to question #47 Edited January 31, 2008 by quick_00 Quote
jcbanshee Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 I just ordered one off ebay for 35. I have yet to get it but i heard they all work just the same. Quote
dajogejr Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 Buy the cheap one. Take a sander or die grinder and lightly smooth the three edges where it will slide against the cases. It gets bolted down and there is no stress on the plate. You just want to be able to move it somewhat easily to make adjustments without pulling the flywheel off.... Quote
quick_00 Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 talk about a wake up call. When i did the advance on mine you could hear and feel the difference! One of the most worthwhile mods Quote
