Hello all.

I just put on a +6 swingarm, and everything's great...

EXCEPT:

I'm curious as to how the shee is supposed to sit. Are there any shock/spring adjustments that I need to make? When I push down, it only springs up about 2 inches. I'd say I can pull it up about 3 inches and it stays right there...until I push it down again. Any tips???

Thanks!

You are probably going to want to have your rear shock reworked or atleast resprung. If you don't do that, your bike will be very soft and mushy in the rear..............and bottom out alot. It's make things even worse if you are a bigger guy. :geek:

yeah dude , w/ a stock swingarm most guys i ride with are to heavy for the shock(according to the specs)i'm about to put a plus 6 on mine and i definately am going to revalve and respring the stock shock , i had a +4 on there w/ stock shock and it was very plushy and bottomed out some , so i can only imagine the +6 im gonna put on there would be too much leverage for the stock spring .
