Here's my Tyson lightend chassis with chromoly subframe. I left the uptubes though, seemed to help keep the motor from twisting.

Frame is forsale too. PM me if you want details I'm not gonna hi-jack this guys thread.

the more you cut the more there gonna twist

unless you are gonna build a drag bike I dont think I would cut it up

i cut the fender mounts up front, stock pipe mounts, all that bs that i wont use and i`ll be cutting above the lower engine mounts. i was thinking of reinforcing it some way but i do want them lower bars cut. i just dont want it to twist.

You seem confused. You can't remove material from a structure and expect it to have the same stiffness, at least not in this case. Unless you are out to scrape up every ounce of power, then cutting an already weak from is a terrible idea. The guys who run these are on groomed tracks, and you want to climb hills. IMO it would be advantageous to add material in key areas, rather then creating a whole bunch of dead tubes.

I posted one in images today with the stock frame cut and drilled to shave the weight. I dont know how well you can see it, but I can get better pics of it if you need.
