ellison445 Posted January 19, 2008 Report Posted January 19, 2008 (edited) Eton viper, you cant go wrong with them... Did I mention its a 2-stroke rocketship for a little bike!! Edited January 19, 2008 by ellison445 Quote
zach45 Posted January 19, 2008 Report Posted January 19, 2008 best bet is the cheap 400-500 bikes... let him rid it till it breaks... i dont understand buying brand name 50's that they will outgrow in no time.... lt80 is good bike, if i come across one cheap i would buy it... fun bike to knock around even for a fat kid like me ....200 pounds Quote
Machwon Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 Check around for a DRR, taiwan made. They maybe a little more pricey, but they are pretty cool quads for the little ones. I had an Eton 40 viper jr. and my 3.5 yr old girls knees hit the handle bars. She's still riding here DRR 50 going on 7 and I can even ride it. They are very fast out of the crate and also are plenty wide (no need to buy axles or a-arms). It makes them stable and safe They also can be upgraded to a 90 with a crank and cylinder kit. Quote
angler Posted January 22, 2008 Author Report Posted January 22, 2008 thanks, guys. The reason I wanted to get a name brand is that everyone I know that has one has had it for years. they don't break, they're lighter, and they hold their value. All the chinese quads seem to get stuck a lot in the sand. I guess I'd buy anything if the price was right. Thanks again! Quote

I bought one of those POS chinese bikes, that shit couldn't even move the tires in the sand. Got my boys a Raptor 80 and they love it. I'm currently shopping for a second raptor for my other boy. Good luck. Quote
ellison445 Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 Thats becuase you had a ETON 40, The 50 is the same size as the 90 and can upgraded to smoke the 90 with just a ported 70cc cylinder. You go to the track and I can almost garuantee you you WILL not see any of the bikes you mentioned there. They are just too slow!! You will see Eton, Kasea and Cobras MAYBE a LT 80 here and there.... Here is a pic of my sons bike, his bike runs side by side with his brothers KX85 Check around for a DRR, taiwan made.
