KaosBanshee44 Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 I've soaked it in Acetone for an hour and the grill part still has paint on it....PISS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :: Quote
J.J. Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 Ha, you're gonna have to pick and scratch at each one of those openings. I used various chemicals, ultra sonic bath, compressed air, etc, managed to remove the majority of the coating without too much physical effort, but still had to get in there with something sharp to remove it all. . Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 wal-mart has a spray on paint stripper that worked really well on my jugs, dupli color makes it I think. Maybe you'd have better luck with that. For the most part I could just hold the jugs under water and it would come off with little pressure. Quote
KaosBanshee44 Posted January 17, 2008 Author Report Posted January 17, 2008 yeah i've had the thing sitting in acetone for over 5 hours now, The paint came off on the top bottom and sides but not in the middle...lol I get off at 6 i'll try that dupli color stuff. I guess just keep spraying on spraying off etc. Quote
