kevl Posted January 17, 2008 Author Report Posted January 17, 2008 Did you double check your carb slides like I mentioned above? It's sounding more and more like what I had dealt with... my buddy is doing the carb work this weekend. are two stroke carbs pretty much the same as four stroke when it comes to tear down and cleaning. i see a little eye on the carb and when i hit the throttle i can see the level move is that what you mean by being synch Quote

They are really easy. Yes you're looking at the right spot, and I know you said you see the level moving but do you see the "mark". there is a "ping" mark that kind of looks like if you were to start drilling in a peice of metal and then quit before you went through so kind of a divet. This little ping mark should only be visible at a certain point like half throttle or so (I forget exactly) the little ping mark should pass by the window in both carbs at the same time to be "in sync". Make sense? Quote

No, not at all just make sure you reinstall them in the correct sides and be careful not to bend your needles. You don't need two people to sync them though, the windows are both viewable from one side of the banshee. You can just kneel down and look at both carbs at once and watch the windows as you push the throttle and those two little marks should show up in the windows. Quote
