notsed Posted January 14, 2008 Report Posted January 14, 2008 ok i know im supposed to use 2 35 watt lights but what will happen if i use 2 50 watt, will it hurt my shee or just not be so bright Quote
streetshee Posted January 14, 2008 Report Posted January 14, 2008 ok,lets put it a simpl way, just for ease of maths lets say your generator has a maximum of 70watts output, that means that your lights at 35w each is total 70w,there is no more light to come! if you put two 50w bulbs in they will only burn at 35w each, simple.buy a bigger stator. smokin350 Posted January 14, 2008 Report Posted January 14, 2008 Whats up guys i saw a thread on headlights so i thought i get my question out there i have the trail-tech headlights in the stock position and one of them burned out and i guess u cant replace the bulb u have to physically buy a new 1 and i forget if it's 35 watt and if its the flood or spot so my question is would it make a difference if i had 2 spotlights cause i guess thats what i'll order and i guess i'll go with the 35watt cause i have a stock stator doews that sound good or should i just buy a whole new set for 130.00 bucks that have the replacable bulbs let me know!!! Thanks Smokin350 Quote
bansheeyfz Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 i had these 25 dollar ebay lights that were 50 waters and they were bright as hell on a stock stator Quote
Snopczynski Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 Trail tech bulbs are replaceable. You can get them at a good hardware store. Quote
bansheeman1988 Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 Go to a menards home depot or lowes and look for MR-16's in the lighting department. 35W btw and floods would be your best bet if you want to light the entire road surface in front of you, otherwise if your looking for more distance go with the spots. Just read the packages and they will tell you what they are, good luck! Quote
