Hi, Im new to the site and need some help. I just picked an 06 limited edition banshee. The machine is all stock and looks brand spanking new. Well it started off well. Started right up and rode rode for a good 15 min, then raced my buddy 3 times. When I stopped to talk to him and put it in neutral and all of the sudden the bike began to rev up on its own. It only does after you have been riding for a while. Thanks.

get a can of starer fluid or some carb cleaner. Start the banshee, Let it idle and spray the starting fluid/carb cleaner all around the intakes and listen for a change of idle.if it changes you may have a intake leak.

okay i got a can of starter fluid and sprayed it all around the intakes. It made it idle higher. Does this sound about right? I thought that if there was a leak that it should stall it out.
