When im a little more then half throttle it sounds as if the left side of the engine just shuts completely off in any gear. We also have tryed disconnecting the TORS but still no luck.

Any help or suggestions would be great.

We had put a new stator on, after that it ran beautiful but then this started happening. Also the spark plug in the left side, the white pary turns very black and oily after a short drive up the street.

try swapping spark plug boots and see if the problem moves to the opposite cylinder. Those boots are notorious for going bad.

The first thing I would check is the plug on that side. See if its fouled, and if so, check for spark with a new one. If everything checks out, I would open the carb on that side to see if something is plugging up the jets like dirt.

Did you make sure the slide was moving up and down on that carb?

Thats the basics, if everything checks out from there, I would do a compression test.
