cool heads suck

I spent over an hour trying to get the big oring that goes on the top part on and it still wont stay! Im really starting to hate these heads. Im gonna try glueing it in tomorrow but im still not even sure its gonna stay, its tight. can this be cause i used a noss oring on a prodesign? Im really aggravated cause i would be riding right now if all went well

yea they can be a pain in the ass.. i always use wheel bearing grease, then install the oring, and it will stay in place almost everytime.. you can also try to heat the o-ring with a heat gun or hair dryer, makes it more plyable and soft, good luck, you will be riding in no time..

Yes, put some grease on them. I had the same issue with mine.

A little dab goes a long way. And it helps to have a couple of

paper towels near by too. :thumbsup:

i used antiseize on my orings and it worked freakin great. plus in the future if i need to ever take the head off or take it apart i know it isnt going to be stuck together because the antiseize keeps things from sticking from corrosion.

I use Vasoline because it melts the first time you get the motor up to temp. That way it doesnt build up. I put a little inbetween my thumb and finger and pull the oring through it. Do that to all the o rings except for the the 10 little ones that around the studs.

Heavy grease or vaseline is the way to go...... :thumbsup:
