shee99 Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Hi everyone I am currently getting my crank rebuilt right now and I want to do more to the motor when I get it back. So here is my problem, bolt ons or porting. As far as bolts I'm thinking of new 30-33mm carbs, advanced timing plate, lower compresion cc domes, pod filters, and v force reeds. The other option is a dune port from FAST and pod filter with jetting. So my question is which would give me more H.P. I want to run both setups on 93 pump gas, all feedback will be helpful. The shee currently has toomy t-5, cool head head 22cc, boost bottle, 20 over. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 porting will give you the most power overall. with it your going to want carbs intake and pipes to get the max power out of it. dont assume you want a duneport until you talk with who ever is going to do it. depending on your riding type they might have a better option. but your heading in the right direction. keep searching on here for other options, its been covered 100's of times.
