krauss4 Posted January 5, 2008 Report Posted January 5, 2008 i just got some 35 mm carbs and i need intakes. i see that some intakes have a built in crossover tube and some come with a place to have a boost bottle. and then there are some that have no way of haveing a crossover tube or bottle. what do i want? this is pretty much a drag bike. Yes, you will definitely need to sync the carbs after they are on. Its a little bit harder to tune with split intakes depending on what your carbs and engine setup are. I've had both, built-in crossover and split, and haven't noticed much of a difference between the two either way. Quote

What im saying is they are just a pain in the ass with the intakes the have the boost bottle. They get in the way of fuel lines,etc and when I ran them, the bottle kept coming out of the rubber gourmets. You dont need a boost bottle for anything so it is just extra crap to screw with. Intakes with built in crossovers are fine btw Quote
