i hate when somebody wants to race on dirt.. my shee hooks great on sand, but on the dirt with my +6 swing it just likes to spin and i always have to catch them on the top end. it sucks barely beating someone on dirt and spanking their a$$ on sand.

im running a new set of x-drive tires ..yes those f-ers are heavy. i even start in second gear .

i thought aboutnthat for the track, but , imean more of gravel roads or open fields where you have a dirt/grass mix. my kfx400 will stand up with the holeshot xcr's but that a factory swing, and not as much hp. the shee will spin threw 2nd and most of 3rd then its catch up time. if its a short race its close. i need a long race to pull my top end.

i hate racing on dirt/grass.. the sand is my friend !!!

turf tammers are cheap, lite and hook awsome on harpacked , andthe can be cut easy for diffrent traction aplications ,pro wedges/4 snows are pretty awfull on really hard ground they need loose dirt to get traction . and if you run ice spikes on tammers its over on hardpack its like racing on pavement

might wanna try the 501 ohtsu radials. they're the ones that come stock on hondas 400 ex's. i run them at the dirt drags and they're one of the best tires i've found yet. turf tamers are a good choice also.

I felt the same about racing dirt/grass untill locogato told me up about cut Kenda Knarleys. You will hook hard out of the hole & not worry much about catching up.

why is that ?? about the knarleys ??????/

Tire drops down on the cut out and somewhat like a paddle, the next row of knobs gets a full, deep bite on the ground. Best launch I ever have got on grass & dirt. Leave on my banshee in second very much like in sand. I don't see why every other row of knobs cut wouldn't work similar on other types of rear tires if cut in a similar pattern.

These are mainly for straight line drags, you won't corner like on your x-drive bkt's, hole shots, razers ect.

I cut mine. Loco told me how to do it after I was talking about spinning so much on grass drag racing. Used a saw-zall with a course wood blade then used a copper tire wheel to smooth them down. Smokey job but was worth it!

i was looking at mine, id have to try and take atleast 2 rows out, i guess ill be looking for a set of knarly's.

I wouldnt waste you time bro... With that much swinger it will spin anything on dirt. It may help a little, but not enough to make any difference in a race. We put some Dick Cepek spider tracs on my bros pipes shee and it spins the hell out of them. Banshees just spin i guess... lol

well.. a friend of mine has a praire 700 with a 730 fundy built motor.. it hauls ass... i think 5.2 with jockey at clash of the titians. well being a 4*4 it runs damn good on dirt. his jockey beat my buddies 686 craycraft raptor by half a bike (raptor bald tires) so he had to post it on youtube... he likes to talk crap !! on sand we kill him.. but dirt he hooks.i can beat the rap by a bike or so on sand. but the raptor spins just as bad ,plus he had bald ass tires on the dirt.

i like compitition ,but i hate people that take it to serious... and have excuses when they do lose. ill give him that his bike is fast ,but have some class......

Get some shitty paddles and go use them. Get some haulers that you dont care about and use them. I think they will hook as good as anything on dirt. You need to borrow my rap 700 and put him in his place. That bastard hooks on dirt big time and is fast as hell on dirt!
