Dave I. Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 Looking at the vp website I see, m1, m3, m5.....what do people normally run in a banshee? thanks dave Quote
badassbanshee479 Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 I buy mine from the local drag strip. and I run it at 32:1 with klotz super technaplate Most I have seen running vp use the m1. its expensive though! your better off tryin to find somewhere that sells regular meth. I can buy 55gal drum by me for 150 bucks! I think that vp is 45 for 5 gallons Quote
dajogejr Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 The good thing about VP is you know you're getting fresh fuel...that's about it. I pay 35 for a 5 gallon can of M1. I think M5 or M3 has the top end lube (4 stroke guys use this) already in it. Next year I'll be finding a distributor and getting a 55 gallon drum, or...I'll be sharing/buying another with JT.... Holy crow jared your getting hammered for that. Next time you are down around cheyenne, go to Dooleys in town, My last drum was like $89 bucks. Quote
Dave I. Posted December 21, 2007 Author Report Posted December 21, 2007 checked today and im not sure what brand it is but it doesnt have any additives, and its $200 for 55 gallon drum. everything cost more here lol Quote
Whitbread Posted December 21, 2007 Report Posted December 21, 2007 I know how you feel Dave I. I brew my own bio diesel (which methanol is a key ingredient of) and i had to drive an hour and a half away from my college in Lima, OH to get a drum. And it was still $185 for it  . The funny thing is that one of the largest refineries in the midwest is right in Lima, go figure. The last time i bought a drum in detroit it was $100; gotta love the motor city. Quote
