BaNsHeeJuNkEy Posted January 13, 2008 Author Report Posted January 13, 2008 run it for a minute or two, then pull the plugs and post what they looklike. you may need to move needles to the 4th clip-one step closer to the pointed end. (it got better when you richened the mid range so maybe try giving it more) look to see what markings are stamped in the sides of the needles. also, has the float level been set properly ? do you have new plugs in it ? i have been leting it run and i pulled the plug and they are pertty wet not fludded wet but wet enough that it has a shine to it. they are used plugs i am surprised they still work after all of this i will put a new set in today and see what happens.i had someone set the flots for me i think it was suppose to be 16mm i think forgot what it says in the book. probely should check that again. dajogejr Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 Well put...and you can help the next guy as well. I'm a drag racer, so syncing my carbs isn't as important as it would be a trail/dune rider. However, the tool I bought from Jeff @ FAST is priceless, takes the guess work out of syncing the carbs... I just came back to this thread after skimming it...so, if that's been said, my apologies. Quote
BaNsHeeJuNkEy Posted January 16, 2008 Author Report Posted January 16, 2008 Keep your head up man, what you are doing right now is priceless experience in tuning a Banshee.
