not pod filters---k&n stock replacement---stock box with no lid.............i dont think pod k&n filters would flow that much more than a k&n stock replacement......i dunno....i have had that setup for over 2 years now and always have kick ass power and no trouble....i usually run 210 mains in the summer with no problem......just keep an eye on your plugs to be safe.....i had about 175 psi compression with my setup and use castor 927 or maxima or any good oil and run my ratio at about 42:1 up to 46:1 (more in winter) with premium gas....

unscrew the top of the carb off.....you need to disconnect the throttle cable from the slide--do this by taking one hand and pulling the spring out of the slide to bunch it up and take the other hand with a pair of needle nose pliars and pull the retainer straight out of the slide and the throttle cable should unhook from the slide-----little tricky----- not too bad though-----......then take a phillips screwdriver and remove the two screws to remove the needle assembly......(((note the position of everything and do only one at a time)))....slide the needle out of the holder and there will be a circlip.......----note its position----take the circlip off and put it on the 2nd position from the bottom(((( #1 position would be closest to the pointy end of the needle )))).........reinstall everything as it came out.....do the same for the 2nd one......the most tricky part of all of this is reinstalling the cable in the slide while holding the spring and putting the cable retainer in the slide and then releasing the spring........hope this helps....let me know how it runs.... did you already try different mains??? just wondering if that got it running for you yet.........do you have a timing advancer yet??? works great big difference.....
