I just bought a 00 banshee i thought only needed a top end till i took it apart and found at the least a rod to be bad. Now the engine is out and im about to start tearing it down tomorrow. I bought a stroker crank and rods assembly and found somebody to bore the cylinders when the time comes, i also sourced some new stroker cool head domes for higher cr. I have the book but does anybody have any tips or pointers to getting the job done? thanks

Just take your time, make sure everything is CLEAN, and do everything you wanna do in there while you got it opened up (port match the cases, shift star, RZ forks/drum, whatever), it's no picnic tuggin' that heavy bitch in and out...
