Just need a good starting point for the following set up + 30 on the pistons, modified air lid

+4 on the timing, fmf fatty exhaust,Dynojet jet kit with 280 on the main and the clip is at the top of

the pin and 2 and a half turn on the air screw followed the instructions on the dyno jet kit.Bike idles nice

carbs are synced.Bike bogs outs at low rpm 1/8 to 1/4 feals like you have to load up the carbs to move.

Hey whats up man.. I had similiar mods on my shee before the rebuild except for the +4 timing

I think your main is to small. I had a 310 main stock pilot.. needle in the middle..

Try changing the positon on the needle.. put it back to the middle...

Also I believe changing the timing, you are suppose to rejet, larger main..

Im not sure about elev. there, but sounds way to lean, try the 3rd to 4th groove from blunt end. 4th after market needle. And try air screw back to 1 1/2 out.

With an airbox and modified lid your main should be fine.

Put the needle back in the middle clip.

See if that helps....

If not, put the air screws at 1.5 turns out and put 27.5 pilots jets in there. Fattys love fatter pilots, but don't go bigger than 27.5 (one size bigger than stock 25 ) because you're still running a box w/ lid.
