bombedbanshee06 Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 hi my mate has and 04 banshee with these mod tommey tr6 pipes K&N filter with the lid on ,boost bottle,wiseco forged piston and vforce 3 reeds the jets are 280 now and where are at sea level do you think these jet are to small and what size do you think he should go any help would be great cheers Ian P.S we are thinking 310-320 Quote

I had a similiar setup,Im also at sea level, My air box lid was off.. 310 main middle position on needle stock pilot- 25 And shee was pretty crisp.. dajogejr Posted November 9, 2007 Report Posted November 9, 2007 Around here....500 to 800 ft above sea level, normal riding temps...60 to 80 degrees, with an airbox and the lid on, 310 or 320 is too much main...but as said, every bike is different. I'd say you're almost spot on, if not a little rich... Piped bikes I've worked on with NO lid on a K&N Filter I ended up with a 270 to 290 main. Here's how you dial your main in.
