Powder coating A-arms

I was wondering if anyone on here is able to powder coat my a-arms for me if i send them to you. I just got my frame and swingarm coated bright oragne and looks great, but i want my a-arms to be orange also. Or is there any paint out thier that is as strong that I could buy.

powdercoat is your best bet... paint can be durable but only if sprayed on right, with the right tools, like a real paint gun, but itll never be as tough as a good powdercoat. im sure itll cost you some $$ though

if they are for stock a arms then powdercoating can mess the bushing inside the ball joint up. some people have done it without problems though. PM kaotik1 he does powdercoating and would probably know best.

For sure if they are aftermarket arms I can do them. If they are stock arms I can not, you need a low bake powder to do factory arms. This stuff I do not do.

I went to wallmart and got this rust rustoleum textured pain. its nice.

IM a prof. Powder Coater of 6 years now, Ive been to classes, schools, pc shows the whole 9 yards. I have an 04 banshee I powdercoated the stock a arms on and re greased them and put them back together, This banshee is ALMOST ridden every single day on trails, jumps, etc. I also have my 05 drag banshee that I Pc the stocka a arms on and ran for a while till I got aftermarket, I made a few 97 mph passes on asphalt and never thought twice about my ball joints or bushings, Just my $0.02

I've had two sets of stock a-arms pc'd and it ruined the ball joints. Dont do it! It melts whatever coating they have inside of them. I dont know if it is teflon or what it is but it does ruin them.

I WOULDNT DO IT EITHER MY BUDDY GOT HIS DONE AND WENT RIDING DOWN THE BEACH AND NEXT THING HE KNEW HE WAS LOOKING BACK AT HIS BIKE....JUST PAINT THEM TAKE THEM TO A BODY SHOP AND HAVE THEM PAINTED OR BY SOME AFTER MARKET ONES....
