Bansh-eman Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 the longrod will help relieve stress of your bottom end. it changes the angle the rod is at when the piston is at TDC and the motor fires. there is not power gain from this. its purely for a more reliable motor. the rods are 5mm longer then stock so yu will need to get 795 series pistons. this moved the pin 5mm deeper into he crown making up for the longer rod. FireHead Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 got ,my engine torn down and wondering how to decode the part numbers on the piston,it looks like a wiseco and reads as follows d00a6 513m06500 thanks in advance Those are Wiseco numbers and you can download their catalog in PDF form from their website. If I can remember how to use my engineering crystal ball properly, I would say you have a set of 65mm Wiseco Banshee pistons on your hands. :geek: Quote
