That bike is way to nice and clean to part out like everyone said... Save the parting out for the bargain basement beaters... Put for sale signs on it for your dune trips... Just one thing you gotta think of homie... You can probably get a little more parting it out, but then you have to figure on trips to the post office, your time taking it apart, shipping, answering PMs, dealing with tire kickers...etc. For the 10 to 15% you might lose by selling it whole vs. parting it out...it will save you more time and headache in my opinion... Don't worry...after the 08 season is over I'm sure my 10 mil will be up for sale and ready for you.... Ask anyone around here...I still say there are days I wish I still had that 4 mil, it was a great little motor!!! Best of luck to you my friend!! Quote

Personally I love love to see her still running in the sand whole even if some else was running her. If you do part it out I would be interested in the plastic and seat. I understand where you are coming from, we are in the same boat and looking at trying to find a rhino. Therre was one on craigs list here in fresno. Had fulbore plastics, ostrig leather seats front and back, full cage roll bar, five point seat belts, long travel 6" suspension with elkas, dune tires and the person selling had a 16,000. price tag. Great deal, just could not come up with the money. Look around for some used ones, the 08 fuel injected 700 rhinos are coming out soon and everyone will want the latest and greatest and dump their current rhinos. Quote

'04limited Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 dude i know how you feel..well not really my shee is not nearly as nice or as fast as yours but i still love her. the wife said that it was time to get something that we could throw the kids in to go out to the dunes so we went and got a rhino but i opted to keep both shees and take the 125 dollar a month hit for the rhino well worth it imo now i get the best of both worlds. good luck on your decision. Dave, I'd love to sell it, but I kow that a $8,500 price tag for a 10 year old Banshee will not go over very well. I know that a bunch of my friends that I ride with want a ton of my parts, so selling all the big stuff will be easy! Burleybanshee... the plastics and seat are yours... I can meet you half way... We'll talk after Halloween... As for taking out a loan for a Rhino... Can't do it man! My and my wife will never make a payment for a toy... that's our agreement... All of our toys are paid in full... no credit cards, no loans! And I'm a buy it used type of guy anyhow! I've seen some really cool Rhinos with a ton of trick sh!t on them in my price range... I'm only looking to spend 13K... Bada450R... See you at the hill.... :biggrin: I know that my 370R isn't going to put as much power down, but it should keep up with a good amount of the little motors... I'm going to be on gas for the first half of the season anyhow. Quote
