Well now that I'm having a good day with my broken collar bone I'd figure I'd give a shot at bending the steering loop back into place.. From what I can tell from looking at my other shee is that the steering loop is bent back about 3/8 of an inch or so...just enough to touch the tank. is it worth bending back since the steering seems to move freely and there seems to be no binding or should I try to bend it back and how do I go about doing this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I take this means taking the tank off?? Ans there aren't very many people I trust that have to 2 good clavicles with a sledge hammer in their hands.

its not hard to bend the frame back at all. This is saying you don't have a fancy powder coat job then it might be a little more difficult. If you don't i recommend bending it back and gusseting it.

No fancy PC job...but a gusset kit might in my near future

Heat always works too but that will screw up your paint obviously

I want to try to stay away from heat if at all possible.

Any other ideas??
