blueshee Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 I won an ebay auction on a graydon intake setup and am now looking for a carb for it. I found a 38mm lectron on ebay and am wondering if it is too big for my setup. Also are there any jets to change on lectrons or is it completely externally adjustable? If I dont get this Ill probably just order a brand new 35 pwk. I just need some quick answers in order to make a decision. Thanks in advance. Quote
Snopczynski Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 38mm lectron is too big for your setup. Get the pwk 35. Quote

I guess im going with the pwk. Can you give me a guestimate on the jetting for this. I will be riding Gordons Wells/glamis, which I believe is close to sea level Quote
Snopczynski Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 eek needle, 48 pilot, 2 turns out air screw, 185 main jet. Start in the middle clip on the needle and adjust as necessary. Quote
RIPRuck Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 (edited) I just ordered a 38mm airstriker for my trinity 2 into 1. Was told by the one that ported my cylinders and another guy that sets these intakes up to go with the 38mm airstriker over the normal 35mm for the port job I have. We will see!! BTW.. Are you the one that won the Graydon intake with aluminum airbox and uni-filters? If so good deal! Edited October 10, 2007 by RIPRuck Quote
sredish Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 I'll buy the graydon if you wanna sell it. Quote

RIPRuck Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 To tell you the truth, I never seen it sold with the aluminum air box. Others might have but I'm not sure. As for a price I've seen the intake with carb, k&n, outterwear and cable sell for aound $300. You got a good deal with the box and knowing you can buy whatever carb you want either new or used.. Choice would be yours! I myself just bought a trinity stage IV setup minus the carb which is what I wanted.. Gave me the option to pick the type of carb I would like. Quote
