4wheeling Posted October 9, 2007 Report Posted October 9, 2007 I have a friend who has a set of upper and lower arms from a 2005 Yamaha YFZ450 quad and from what I have herd they can fit on my banshee... Is this true? Are they just direct bolt on or are their mods that need to be done to make them work? If someone could post some information I would be a happy camper! Thanks, C Quote

Thanks, C the uppers bolt right up however the lowers require some modifications. you will have to grind alittle off the bottoms on two spots were the bolt attaches the a arm to the frame. you will also need some spacers that 2003limitedbanshee makes. other than that you will need longer tie rods and i recomend the yfz 450 spindles because they work much better with those a arms over the banshee spindles. if you look under the suspension section and search yfz 450 a arms theres a great write up of how to install the arms. good luck and feel free to pm me if you have any questions. i did the same thing to my bike a yr. ago. good luck peter Quote

Bansh88 Posted October 9, 2007 Report Posted October 9, 2007 Sounds like a nigger rig for sure. Hold off and save money for some parts that are made for your bike. Quote
theshee Posted October 9, 2007 Report Posted October 9, 2007 I never liked my 450 arms on my 4mil. Just never seemed to sit quite right for me. Quote
