cvbadass Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 Ok, I have an 06 banshee, toomey pipes/air filter/jets fourteen tooth front gear, and power reeds. My buddy has a 97 fmf fatty pipes/coolhead/bored 30 over.... with a sixteen tooth front gear. My shee has predictable power and is easy to ride. His shee has little power at low throttle and when the power band hits it is a shock going from little to alot!! more so than mine. this is making it hard to ride because he goes from nothing to somthing without any type of transition period. what can be done to make the transition smoother through the low throttle to the power band? I thought maybe his front gear? Any help would be appreciated. He is thinking of tradeing in for a 4stroke unless he can solve this problem. Quote

I agree to dump the 16T sprocket. Stock gearing works fine. Also advance timing to help smooth the powerband. Brandon Quote
