kawiking Posted October 10, 2007 Author Report Posted October 10, 2007 i thought a 7mm was a 496, and a 10mm was a 535....... Quote
dajogejr Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 Bigger bore Cheetahs (73mm I think) are that big, not the 68mm bore cubs. Quote
kawiking Posted October 10, 2007 Author Report Posted October 10, 2007 my buddy has a 10 mm ,i thought it was a 535. but i think he has small bore pipes.so it would be a 465 if he does have a small bore ?? Quote
dajogejr Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 A 10 mil cheetah with a 73 bore is a 535 I think...however, you'd have hard time finding any kind of builder that would recommend small bore pipes for that motor. I'm not saying they won't work, but I'd bet money 95% of the builders out there would recommend big bore pipes for it.... 4 mil and smaller motors used to be small bore, 7mil and bigger big bore. That's all changed, Smaller motors have been running better (not all, but some...) with big bore pipes... It really ALL depends... Quote
RadarRacing Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 It may be a 5 mil crank. Trinity and I think Vitos has them. A 5 mil in a 69 is a 441.24 cc and a 68 would be a 428.54 I'd bet they are using a 4 mil cub cyl and a 5 not a 4 mil crank for whatever reason? Quote

Yup could be a 5mm Crank in there.Thats all my old builder would build.5mm cubs and up Quote
kawiking Posted October 11, 2007 Author Report Posted October 11, 2007 he said it was a 4 mill with 69mm lightened pistons...... but dont get me lieing. this is just what he told me. as for my friend,he said he runs 68 mm pistons in his 10mm. that 10 mill is a damn handful to ride !!!! Quote

Maybe he put a sleeve in the cub?Or I know of some people who bore out there cubs also.Im new to this whole thing so Im sort of confused..But a 68mm 10mm would be a 465 10mm Cub. Quote
RadarRacing Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 A 4 mil 69 bore would be a 433.46 cc motor so maybe it is a 69 bore. Quote
kawiking Posted October 12, 2007 Author Report Posted October 12, 2007 he didnt sleeve it, he's ordering these kits . Quote
