Just thought I would share some pics from EL Golfo (El Golfo de Santa Clara) Mexico, Easter Weekend 2006.

Just a few people there that weekend.

Wow! That first pic looks packed, I've always wanted to go there. Whats that hill like?

The hill isn't all that nice, but it's cool to go out there to cruise the beach and have some beers at El Capitan Bar.

Nice pics, thanks for sharing!!

How's the riding areas there? Big open spots to really push that throttle?

Looks like a good place to vacation, what's the nightlife like out there?

I'd like to ride out to San Felipe. Hit the beaches & hit the streets on the ATV.

Sandshots went out there & rode the town & cruised back to camp with a 12pk on the lap

How do you get there?

I'm not sure about the exact directions, this was my first time going. But from Cali, you would have to first get to Calexico, then Mexicali and head South when you get to San Luis. Sorry! that's as good as my directions will get. Or you can drive to Yuma, Az, head south to San Luis and South from there.

The beach area stretches a long ways, so yeah! you can just pin the throttle.

There's only one major bar there (El Capitan), so it's probably not like San Felipe. It's a very small

fishing town. People say it's what Rocky Point used to be.

HA!!!! Looks like I'll be going down there again in two weeks for the ProDesert El Golfo 200 Race.
