jettings the same in both carbs, TORS tops still installed but the tors system is disconnected, i ran for about 5-6 hours yesterday and on my way back this happened. I put it through it's paces out there with lots of low gear mud running and spinning alot. I did a bunch of high speed passes and i've got a whole bunch of miles on this topend rebuild, i know i have atleast 300 miles on it, not sure how many hours on this topend but it's been running good. But why would only one side have gone out? the other side looks fine, alittle carbon build up but nothing that seems to unusal. When this happened, i had someone on the back with me and maybe that was too much of a load for the motor? Between us there was roughly about 375lbs if not more. But i'm assuming this must be a jetting issue. Oh, and also when it cut out on me, i heard the water in the rad bubbling so i know it was hot, but could that have been from the extra load that it's not used to? I wasn't riding it any diffrent then I ususally do, about half throttle in 6th gear.

thanks for your time

the same thing happened to mine and my mechanic told me it was from cold start,, which is from not letting it warm up b4 you go balls to the wall! so to speak, he said the right side is known for it, why? i dunno, but i let mine warm up for about 10-15 minutes b4 i ride it now!!! lol hasn't done it since,, but of course i don't ride double either,,
