crbanshee
well it looks like its time to replace the crank. on my 04 shee.. i was told by the mechanic doing the work (a very well known and liked shop never heard of anyone that was not happy with the work) that a rebuilt crank will run me abot $500.. and a stock is in the 1100 ball park. i looked on the net and on flee bay and have seen some complete kits top end and crank. in the $750 ballpark. but i need to know before i buy any of them if they are worth it or not. most of the stuff i have seen is mfg by hotrod. does anyone have any info on the quality of their stuff??? i dont want to have to do any of this again and end up paying twice for the same parts
letsgetthisdone
hotrods is fine. and the crank alone is usually $350-400. if your buyin a crank, i suggest you get it trued and welded, or buy one from a builder that already has it done. i know jeff @ f.a.s.t. sells hotrods cranks (stock stroke and rod lenght) trued and welded for $400 Edited September 12, 2007 by letsgetthisdone
