jedsled Posted September 11, 2007 Report Posted September 11, 2007 i emailed ebay seller "powersports outlet store" about a new banshee crankshaft he has listed. i asked him if it was a hotrods crank, and he said that it is a "raider" crankshaft that is made in the same factory as the oem and uses some of the same parts. do any of you have any experience with this crank or know if what he is telling me is true? thanks. Bansh-eman Posted September 11, 2007 Report Posted September 11, 2007 (edited) ^^^Ditto^^^ are you reffering to this auction? Link For for 100 dollars more you can get a hotrods stroker crank. Now keep in mind there ALOT more to do when making a stroker then just dropping in crank and pistons. Any particular reason why your looking at a new crank? if your just rebulding a stock motor to be stock again buy a used crank off someone, you can grab one with low hours for like 75 bucks most of the time. edit: forgot to say either way you go look into welding the crank. Im telling you save the money and buy a stocker if you dont plan on stroking it. 75 for a "used" stocker or 300 for a new stocker. for me thats an ez pick Quote
