'99350t
for some reason at idol and low end my banshee's real sluggish and seem to loose a cylinder in the lower RPM range, but runs like a top at mid and up, i've been messing with the pilot jets one size at a time, my slides are in the right carbs, my intake isn't leaking at all (started it and sprayed it) plugs are good, i cant imagine the compression is low, it starts right up first kick???? are my carbs messed up? Hilarious
Post up your mods and carb settings. Have you tried adjusting your air screws? Best way I know of to diagnose a bad crank seal would be a leak down test. You would have to take the stator cover and flywheel off. And remove your clutch cover and crank gear to be able to see the seals. while doing the leak down test, if you have an air leak, spray around the seals and such with a soap solution and look for air bubbles. It's a real pain in the butt to do. :yucky: You can make a tester out of parts that you can obtain at home depot. I think RNBRAD has a brake down of one. You can do a search on it.
Bansheeman1121
My banshee did this when it needed a top end.... Does it only start with the choke on to hot or cold?
