jayzx10r Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 (edited) Yea, Yea, Yea. I know I'm on a Banshee Site but give me a break...I have 3 different Yamaha's in the garage so go easy on me!! I'm looking for an aftermarket pipe/silencer for my '03 Blaster in pretty good/great condition. If you have one or know of an etailer that has a significant price cut on one...feel free to contact me. Kinda leaning toward the Toomey B1, LRD, FMF, but I'm open. It was sort of funny when I test rode it before purchase.... I let it idle to warm up, then took off down the road. I wacked open the throttle and waited for the other cylinder to clear and catch.... Then I remembered.....Oooohhh yeaaaa........there is only one here!!! Since this is my first Blaster, if you know any tricks or shortcomings I need to keep my eye on specific to this model, I'd appreciate a heads up!! Anyhow, for the info. Edited September 6, 2007 by jayzx750 Quote

Nope, I missed it. I just got home from work and checked out eBay to find it was picked up by someone else. I've been talking with someone on (Fe)eBay that has a new Toomey B1 kit with jet/filter kit that they said I could have for $250 shipped. I'm waiting for a reply... If it doesn't work out, maybe I'll pick up your friends pipe setup. Thanks, Jay. Quote
nunyabinness Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 $250 for a B-1 pipe is a pretty good deal, and the B-1 pipe is a good pipe it's what i have on my blaster. but i don't really care for the low end lag with the B-1. if i had a choice i would go with the PC (only because it would suit my riding better). of course now that i have a bigger (34mm) carb on there and i have put in my VF2 reeds i think the B-1 pipe is going to suit me better.
