SHEE157 Posted September 1, 2007 Report Posted September 1, 2007 Hey guys, I recently put on some fmf sst pipes. And i changed out the mains to 260's and i have no powerband the engine feels like it is flooding out. So i went back to the 220's. it hits powerband but barely. Am I missing something here. Sorry for starting the new thread but I'm trying to go riding tomorrow. And i'm leaving work in an hour or so, and won't have internet the rest of the night. Not really time to search. Just hoping to get some sort of answer. Thanks in advance. Quote

Stock air filter and remove snorkle, I would start with a 280, needles in stock position (middle clip) and air screws at 1.5 to (2) turns out from lightly seated. Of course, your location, elevation and temp also plays factors.
