blue devil quad Posted August 20, 2007 Author Report Posted August 20, 2007 whats the compression in both cylinders? i forgot to mention that the left side has a new piston and ring set and i dont know the compression yet i have to check it but it rides great 1st 2nd and 3rd then it chokes a bit after that and it fires up on the first or second kick Quote

Is it the same bore size? Same piston? Same base gaskets? The compression is going to be one of the basics you need to check. Its always spark, fuel, air, and mechanical integrity that you need for an engine to run properly. Quote

blue devil quad Posted August 20, 2007 Author Report Posted August 20, 2007 worn reed/jetting.. why is this so difficult can i just change that left side [reeds] since the right appears to be perfect Quote
blue devil quad Posted August 20, 2007 Author Report Posted August 20, 2007 Is it ported? Stroker? no porting or stroker Quote
blue devil quad Posted August 22, 2007 Author Report Posted August 22, 2007 no porting or stroker shop my compression was 150psi on the left and 145psi on the right so datz y my left is still wet huh and when i look in the spark plug hole it still looks new and the right side looks more broken in what do you think Quote
Snopczynski Posted August 22, 2007 Report Posted August 22, 2007 (edited) Swap the plugs and see if the other side still stays dry. Does it run ok? Edited August 22, 2007 by Snopczynski Quote
