I actually gusset my steering stem towers in 5 different places. I'm at work right now and dont have any pics handy, but when I get home if I remember I can get some.

Basically you want a beam down the back of the stem like the picture of the red frame above, then I run one from the stem down to the horizontal frame rails down by the gas tank mounts, and another one up at the top where the upper steering stem holder mount goes that keeps it from folding over if you roll.... Its hard to explain, I will just get pics later...

Here's one thats kinda hard to see, but its all I have on photobucket right now.

this one doesn't have the backbone like the red frame above, but does have the upper gusset and the two vertical ones down by the gas tank. your gas tank will fit fine with them on there. if you wonder about it, mount your gas tank up and then place your gussets and clamp them, then remove your tank & weld them on.

thats over kill aint it bigred, how thick is that metal 3/8?

BigRed dominates his bikes like a dirty, slutty hooker. I suspect the gusset work he does is just about right.

The shit he posts in videos is pretty tame usually, we get out in the dunes and I'm pretty sure we literally get retarded. Then you go to his ranch. Big hills and big rocks, great for rolling down. I'll bet he could bend all of that......
