hey guys i just bought an 03 banshee from a friend and i was wondering what type of fuel and fuel mixture i should use. its been bored 50 over basicly the engine is brand new except for the carb and the pipes. it has the stock jet kit in it and it hasn't been fine tuned yet if you guys could help me out and let me know what would be the best type of pipes and if i need a jet kit and all that good stuff i would appreciat it. and its just going to be used for recreational riding.

fuel= what is compression on it? it its 115-135 pump gas is fine. what do you mix it to? and with waht kind of oil?

 

pipes= whats on it now?

the pipes are stock and im not quite sure what the compression is.

if it;s got stock pipes on it you can bet it's stock internally.. being that pipes are the first step in any engine build up... just dump some premium pump fuel in it.. with a QUALITY premix.. (i prefer amsoil dominator) mix it in the 32:1-40:1 range and you'll be ripping it up in no time with no threat what so ever of top end damage or acceralted wear..

Use premium with a good premix at a 32:1 ratio.

Yamalube 2 R or whatever your prefrence may be is fine.

You do not need any "jet kit" if your bike has no mods.

Keep an eye on your plugs and keep the air filter and

chain maintained and you are good to go.
